I’ve been working my little fingers to the bone this weekend to get this done in time to submit it for the sew along, and it’s finally finished! I am so excited about how pretty my first quilt is turning out! I’ll post some better photos tomorrow, but I am just so thrilled with this that I couldn’t wait. Here is the quilt before I added the border. The colors are more true in this one since I took it earlier in the day.
And here it is with the borders. Isn’t it pretty?!
I wish I had a better way to display it, but I will figure that out tomorrow.

I love it even more with the borders – it really clarifies all the separate pieces.
Thanks so much! I thought so, too!
Love your quilt top. The great fabric choices and colors! I am off to Pin this. I wish I could sew! Have your read the books in the Elm Creek Quilt series. It is a great fiction series that has historial references in it, and weaves quilts into the tales. I always want to be at this ficticious quilt camp!
Thank you! No, I haven’t read those…I’ll have to see if my library has them!
Turned out beautiful. You truly are a creative lady.
Thank you!
wow! I love it. Makes me want to get off my duff and finish a few quilts I have undone in the house.
Thank you! I’d love to see yours, are they on your blog?
