My first finished quilt top!

I’ve been working my little fingers to the bone this weekend to get this done in time to submit it for the sew along, and it’s finally finished! I am so excited about how pretty my first quilt is turning out! I’ll post some better photos tomorrow, but I am just so thrilled with this that I couldn’t wait. Here is the quilt before I added the border. The colors are more true in this one since I took it earlier in the day.

And here it is with the borders. Isn’t it pretty?!

I wish I had a better way to display it, but I will figure that out tomorrow.

  1. I love it even more with the borders – it really clarifies all the separate pieces.

  2. Love your quilt top. The great fabric choices and colors! I am off to Pin this. I wish I could sew! Have your read the books in the Elm Creek Quilt series. It is a great fiction series that has historial references in it, and weaves quilts into the tales. I always want to be at this ficticious quilt camp!

  3. Turned out beautiful. You truly are a creative lady.

  4. wow! I love it. Makes me want to get off my duff and finish a few quilts I have undone in the house.
